A bit about us...

We're Steve and Daisy, the co-owners of Fresh as a Daisy. While walking on Tahunanui Beach one day we came up with this idea so we could spend every working day together. Daisy, being in her later years, wanted to chill at her favourite place, the beach, so we built this business.

Very happy with our vege box

Frequently Asked Questions

When are the subscription boxes delivered?

Our fruit and vegetable boxes are delivered on Wednesday. Orders must be placed by Tuesday midday.

Can I pick up my fruit/vegetable box?

Yes, we have pick up available on Friday's at our stall at Tahunanui Beach.

Can I choose what's in my box?

You can choose between fruit, vegetable and mixed. You can also choose the size of the box, which we ensure is always generous. However, you can let us know of up to 2 items that you don't want included in your box.

What if my address is difficult to find?

You can leave detailed instruction in the order notes and a phone number for us to contact you should any issues arise.

Can I alternate between different box types?

Yes! If you purchase two fortnightly subscriptions of different box types then it will alternate each week.

Can I reuse the delivery box?

All our deliveries are in crates to protect the fruit and vegetables during transport. We take the crates away during delivery and leave the order in packaging.

We can collect the packaging during our following delivery, just leave out for collection.

What if I can't find the delivered box?

Please reach out to us via phone on 021 646 919.

Can the delivery be left somewhere safely at my address?

You are able to specify delivery to the front or back door. Please leave your choice in the order notes during checkout.
